We are a Black-owned, full-service indie book publishing company founded by CEO Author Dee Evans.​
At Rise2Write Publishing, we strive to publish quality literature that enlightens, empowers, and entertains readers of all ages. Our passion for writing and publishing stems from our desire to build generational wealth for our family, and we are excited to share our knowledge and expertise with authors looking to take their work to the next level. We envision a future where the literary landscape reflects the true diversity of our society and where readers of all backgrounds can find relatable stories that inspire, educate, and entertain. By actively seeking out and publishing books authentically representing marginalized communities' experiences, cultures, and perspectives, we aim to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and foster empathy and understanding among readers of all backgrounds. We strive to empower Minorities of all ages to become Published Authors.

Founder & CEO
Dee Evans
Founder Author Dee Evans is a devoted follower of the Most High God, Wife, Mother, Certified Professional Life Coach, Blogger, 2x Course Developer, 2xPodcast Host of "Black Girls in Faith" & "Dee Poetry & Inspiration Podcast" with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, a Master of Arts in Counseling, and MBA. Our Founder has published over 17 books, with 2 becoming Bestsellers on Amazon. She is a passionate writer, poet, and storyteller.
Our Founder is a strong advocate for generational wealth. This belief inspired her to self-publish her son, Author Mykah, when he was just five years old. Since then, Author Mykah has published six books and encourages other young authors to follow in his footsteps.
As a minority Entrepreneur and advocate for diversity in literature, Dee recognized the systemic challenges that minority authors face in traditional publishing. To address this issue, she created a platform that emphasizes authenticity and excellence.
Dee is dedicated to empowering individuals from marginalized communities of all ages to share their talents and stories with the world. Before establishing Rise2Write Publishing, she successfully coached aspiring minority authors to become best-selling published authors, discovering her passion for publishing along the way.
Dee founded Rise2Write Publishing after identifying a significant gap in the industry where minority voices often go unheard. Her goal was to create a platform that empowers people from marginalized backgrounds to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. Literature should reflect the diversity of our society, and Dee is committed to ensuring that all readers have access to books that inspire, educate, and resonate with them.
Through Rise2Write Publishing, she aims to inspire the next generation of minority authors and entrepreneurs to build their legacy through publishing.
